13.06.19 The Forgotten Holocaust MJC member Aida Phelops gives a talk about the history of the persecution and expulsion of the Iraqi Jews, and talk about some of the experiences of her family at that time. Aida is an Iraqi Jew, born in Baghdad, brought up in the UK, lived in Israel for a while, and has now been living in the Beara Peninsula, West Cork, for over 11 years. In the last couple of years she became an Irish Citizen, and sees herself as an Irish Iraqi Jew.
